This farm was recommended by my local SPCA after I have adopted a pottbellied pig. Not knowing anything about pigs, my 3 daughters and I offered to volunteer our help. They welcomed with open arms and we have learned so much from watching and listening. The owner Susan is extremely kind, she has a heart and soul for all her pigs who need adoption, short term, long term care. Her heart is all in the right place, where she wants it, loving and saving pigs. Inspirational women that started off loving one to loving all, she makes her own pig food that is bought all over the US today. All are welcome on her property to visit , pet the pigs, during their hours of course. It is a great place to visit and share your love to all the pigs that need a forever home or they have no other options and have their forever home with this Saint of a women. ~photos with English bulldog is my Jessie girl with Louie my adopted pig. Read moreI knew this would be a special place, and it is. It's a pig farm. Very friendly people, dogs, and pigs! The cottage is set off a little from the farm. The cottage is really special. It's old and it is furnished in a very cute way. Even though I thought it would be funky, I wasn't prepared for the mildew. Also, there were some spiders in the house (Charlotte's Web perhaps?). I appreciate spiders, I just want to know that they are not black widows or another poisonous type of spider that will bite me. If the proprietors had introduced the spiders and assured me, I would have felt more comfortable. If I had known about the mildew before hand, I would have probably decided not to go. Or would have figured out fans etc. to bring air from outside. Oh- one more thing... it is not a bed and breakfast as far as i know b/c there was no...
Read moreA wonderful place! I have loved pigs my entire life so when I found this place threw my research I had to visit! I assumed I would be going to a smelly busy farm style place, NO, this place is shockingly clean and I quickly learned its because the staff truly cares. After Susan the owner and Patty adoption lead educated me about having a pig as a pet, I decided it was a good fit for our family. We adopted 2 pigs and couldn’t be happier. Of course it wasn’t perfect but I could always call Susan for consultation/help with training or behavioral issues. Once your pigs are trained by YOU, life is set to an easy schedule. Our Piggy’s And family are happy and whole. Thank you Ross mill for what you do for all the pigs and for giving me my dream family!!! Love Brittany, Joe ,...
