#TeamClark decided to hit up Grant Park for our family hike today... We were one shy again this morning... little man decided to sleep over at his grandparents house again....❤️

This park is truly awesome... it literally had three different types of terrain ... tons of trails... educational stops along the whole way... wild flowers and badass creek that runs right through the whole thing!😃

This is officially the 23rd Park/Reserve/Preserve that we've hiked in the last 23 weeks!

Our goal is to hike a different park in OHIO every weekend until Mother Nature puts a halt to it this winter!!🥶

It's a lot smaller than I anticipated since everyone reviews says lots of trails but there very short ones. Still nice to go here for a short walk. You could walk through it all in 20 minutes or less. Mostly gravel trails or dirt trails so wear proper shoes. Very quiet area. Picnic tables available, a couple of grills and a porta potty on site. There's a creek and lots of pretty flowers in the area. Dogs must be on a leash when visiting here. You need a burn permit for using the fireplaces. Plenty of parking available close to the school...

Grant Park is the perfect local oasis to get some fresh air, and appreciate the local plants and wildlife. You can explore a few different hiking trails accessible to a variety of abilities, and although you can pretty much keep to yourself most days without running into tons of other people, it's also hard to get lost! We like to go with our pup (on-leash only, please!) and he has a blast! The picnic areas are nice for a little rest if you're just stopping in, but would be good for an outdoor picnic or other...

Nice park for local hiking. The paths are not as wide or well maintained as some of the other parks and the area (within an hour drive) but still a decent Park to visit. This is a frequent Park used by the local schools and camps so you may find lots of kids in and around the parking lot. Make sure you wear decent shoes for those you can get money as the path does not tend to drain well. Watch your step as there are a lot of roots and paths are narrow.
