Rock Spring Park — Attraction in Washington Township

Have been going there for over 25 years-first when my son was small and later with children I've babysat over the years. Don't think I've ever had anything other than a good experience! It has separate fenced area for smaller children and a HUGE sandbox. Bring your own shovel and pails but there are often a few trucks and sand toys there. It has a covered pavilion with picnic tables, a swingset, and plenty of climbing and sliding equipment for all! Restroom building nearby, and it's a short walk to the library if you'd like. Best park in the whole town. Even when the local sports clubs are having their practice, there is plenty of room for families to bring their kids to play. There is a little kids playground for kids up to 3 years old and a bigger playground for the older kids. Plenty of swings too and covered seating in case you want to have a picnic with the family. The parking is accessible from schooleys mountain road and springtown. The park extends back to include tennis courts and baseball fields. Rock Springs Park is very clean and offers plenty of parking. The playground features multiple areas designed for different age groups. The nearby library enhances the community’s safe atmosphere, especially with the police station located so close.
