Jackson Beach is a family favorite of ours. Very easy to get to, no hiking involved so if you are towing a bunch of kids gear it is pretty simple. Jackson is a great place for plenty of beach activities. There is a beach volleyball court set up, picnic spots with grills, a covered gazebo, boat launch etc. We like to go paddle boarding and kayaking from Jackson and we just stay in the little bay. We have also dropped crab pots off of our kayaks and caught quite a few after leaving them for a few hours. I definitely recommend Jackson at low tide when there is plenty of beach to explore and mini tide pools to see lots of anemones.

My girlfriend and I went here on a Saturday morning in October for a cold plunge and met some wonderful local cold plungers who even invited us to use their sauna. The beach has a lot of drift wood, but there are accessible trails to get to the water. There are also several picnic tables. Plenty of parking for a few dozen cars.

Gorgeous little beach and park with excellent parking and even some restrooms. There's an amazing native American sculpture, a pavilion with a fire pit and several picnic spots with fire pits. Driftwood can be a bit challenging to navigate to get to the beach. Some sand and lots of pebbles.

Handicapped parking The drift wood may be difficult for disabled persons to maneuver around, but there are narrow trails to the beach

Great place for walking dogs and enjoying your day on San Juan Island. The boat launch is very well built, lots of room and easy to maneuver around. Lots of drift wood of course, so you will have to walk around some of that, but it's not too hard, there are paths. Definitely handicapped parking, but going around the drift wood may prove...

A great place to take your dog to run on the beach. No need to bring a stick to play fetch with...the entire beach is covered in driftwood....lots of it. Prepare for wind as it should have been called "Windy Point". There are restrooms at the end of the road right next to the boat launch. A waterfowl game reserve is on the other side of the road...a great place to check out...
