Read moreThis has always been my go to lake to take my kids to. I love how the water is like 4-5 feet deep as long as you stay in the ropes off area and do not go on the otherside of the dock. I like that you can enjoy shade or sun. The playground equipment is nice too. There is a undercover area that has power etc for parties and gatherings, it has to be prior reserved. The beach is pretty clean, the water is great, clear as a lake can be. There is sand and grass outdoor showers and indoor bathrooms. However, during the pandemic they have had to close those features for some reason. All in all a great place to enjoy nature, summer and catch some vitamin D. If you want there is even a short trail to a fishing dock. Also a mom n pop gas station down the street in walking distance. Parking can...
Read moreLove this community park! The kids stay busy for hours Bathrooms are still currently closed due to Covid but the park is now open. My only complaint is the litter. We saw a beach towel in the water, plastic floaties that were floating around, wrappers everywhere.. I dont trust to be in the lake without shoes because of broken glass.. other than that, if everyone could pick up after themselves and children, maybe help the planet out and do their part.. it would be perfect for any warm day! Love it! Oh and the water is so shallow, great for little ones. My 4 year old was able to walk all the way out to the dock.....
