Medicine Creek Winery — Attraction in Washington

Had a great time this afternoon hanging out in the garden and tasting room listening to great live music in the shade of an apple tree.

Despite the intense heat wave this weekend, there was a cooling breeze in the shade and I never felt uncomfortably hot, which was a very pleasant surprise.

The tasting room is really fun and eclectic with what looks like an antique Irish pub bar that has been shipped over here in a container ship.

Also very nice that this is a small family operation and the owners are the ones pouring the wine. I'm not a big wine drinker, but I did a tasting flight of four wines and enjoyed them all.

I'm looking forward to the next time we visit and will definitely come...

What a lovely place! Sit in a beautiful rose garden on a comfy couch with your wine samples! Wow! You won't regret stopping here for a taste of their tasty wines. I especially liked their Stagecoach mix ( a robust red) Look at the pix, their bar and bar back are exquisite wooden pieces brought from England, it's worth stopping just to see the place even if you don't drink wine! And the proprietor is a delight as well, genuinely friendly, she loves what she does...

We’ve been meaning to stop by this winery for years and finally made the visit. We were stunned how classy and cozy it was on a rainy Sunday late afternoon in November. Only $10 for my husband and me to do a wine tasting. So much to look at inside and we kept finding more details of vintage times and quality craftsmanship. I especially enjoyed the intimate settings with stained glass back-lit tables we sat at. We will definitely be coming back again...
