Quinn’s Coffee — Restaurant in Washington

I am completely horrified by the service I experienced today and how awful the barista working treated me and my kids. I pulled up to the window and was not greeted the barista said “what do you want” I said can I please have 2 Italian sodas and a red bull Italian soda. Side note my kids never get drinks from coffee stands because it’s expensive but today was a special treat for them. Well after I paid almost 18$ for the 3 drinks plus tip my kids tried there drinks and they tasted really bad, normally I wouldn’t go back through but they were expensive and my kids were not going to drink them. So I waited back in line for about 10min I pull back up and the barista says “what” Just so rude and cold. I said can I please have these 2 drinks remade. She goes “why?” I say they don’t taste good I’m sorry maybe they need more flavoring I’m not sure. She then proceeded to laugh roll her eyes and then goes it’s going to be awhile I don’t know what to tell you. I was just so shocked I was treated with such disrespect I then ask could I just please have my money back. She says in the rudest most sarcastic voice “yes I would absolutely love to just give you your money back and then slams a 6$ in my hand hard. She didn’t even give me the correct change for the drinks. My kids were crying asking why she was so mean and why they couldn’t have there drinks. I told them I would go to a different stand and get them a new drink. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a coffee stand. I am just shocked how me and my kids were treated. Upon leaving the stand another customer came right back and asked for his drink to be remade also. Poor quality and poor customer service does not even begin to explain this stand. After procrastinating on trying it for literally four years, I am pleased to say Quinn's Coffee was 100% worth the wait. I ordered the Sea Turtle because I both like turtles, and it's their specialty and I'm a sucker for whatever a business considers their specialty. It was absolutely fantastic. Sweet and light (I have some issues with dairy so heavier creams can be a problem) but not watery and I'm always nervous about a sweet with salt in it but it was the perfect amount. My friend was with me and she got the Cadbury Egg Latte and said it was one of the best coffee drinks she's ever had. We tried each other's drinks and I could totally imagine that. It was so rich and delicious. Only complaint is that that one is a spring drink haha. I don't remember exactly how much we paid, but I think it was like $23 for three drinks. But my friend did get a 32oz one haha. Not the cheapest, but well worth the price to me, even if just a sometimes thing.

This place has some work to do for sure. This morning, a brunette was working and I waited in line for 15 minutes and there was only one car in front of me and one on the other side. She didn’t even acknowledge me for 3 minutes when I pulled up to the window, just chatting to the other window NOT multitasking. This coffee stand is off a main busy road... people have places to be... you shouldn’t have a customer for more than 4 minutes if they have one drink. She was serving one customer at a time... additionally, all that time she spent on my drink, it was totally burnt. Thank god I paid with cash and didn’t ask for change, because I can’t have a 20 minutes coffee stop every day. Please train...
