We stumbled on this place while driving around looking for a place to let our kids run around. Highly recommend taking the path to see the look out! Gorgeous views with informational signs. You can the continue down a steep 1/3 of a mile downgrade trail to an awesome outlook that sits a bit over the trees. You get an excellent view of the dam! Would not recommend this part for very young children that can’t walk on their own or for kids who are known to run off. Most of it is fenced off but can be dangerous.
