Overall our take of the winery we rate is 3 stars. Nothing spectacular to write home about. Wine is mediocre. We have had better wines nearby at other wineries. The grounds were nice except for the thousands of Japanese Beetles flying all over and covering everything picnic tables and umbrellas covered in beetles and infestation of them. Can’t sit anywhere really covered by the beetles. Couldn’t sit at the picnic tables and enjoy yourself. If they treated the lawn properly this would not happen. They had a nice seating area too. Just closed off to the public. Bring your own chairs The bathrooms in the train car were closed only coed bathrooms were open. Oh there’s no soap in the bathroom either. I have had the opportunity to visit on several occasions and one thing I appreciate is the diversity of this location: a seemingly inconspicuous silo with a mesmerizing piece of art at the top, yard games for adults and children alike, outdoor amphitheater and even a large fire pit in the middle.
