Washington Historical Museum — Attraction in Washington

Very informative site with artifacts from the deep history of the Washington/Wilkes area. They have many items ranging from the Battle of Kettle Creek that drove the British from capturing all of Georgia thru the many important men who lived here and served as important members of the Confederate government and armies. You can't go wrong with a visit to this museum and out to Rest Haven Cemetery, and then Kettle Creek...
