Beautiful day use spot with lots to offer. Parking lot is fairly big but I can see how it could fill up quickly during busier times. There is access to several trails and hikes of different lengths and abilities. We only stopped for a quick restroom break at the end of Sept, during the week. Picnic tables and grills are spread throughout the area. I didn't see a playground but we literally stopped to use the bathrooms so we didn't explore a lot. I think the park has a boat launch and more parking but again, we weren't there long enough to explore more. Bathrooms were super clean for our visit.
