An incredible collection of weapons and other military artifacts dating all the way back to World War I. I was lucky enough to meet the very friendly owner who was extremely knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information about the collection. Unfortunately, the museum is temporarily closed, but will hopefully reopen soon.

Amazing personal collection. Every time we go to South Dakota we will be stopping. My Husband loves it.

Today, during an emergency weather alert, in which golf ball sized hail was dropping out of the sky onto my brand new 2022 Suburban, which is now probably totaled, we were stuck on the highway for 2 miles getting riddled with hail with two scared boys in the vehicle, when we finally found a gas station which is next door to this establishment, all the shelter had been taken. We were afraid of our windshield cracking so we parked our front end under the nose of the aircraft parked outside as it was literally the only structure that could potentially help us preserve our vehicle that were traveling from Michigan in. A gentleman came running towards us, we were hoping he was going to help but instead screamed ferociously at us to move away from his aircraft. In the middle of a frightening situation with our kids, this man made it much worse. My mother, who is a naval veteran and traveling with us, hopes he isnt a veteran as he displayed the opposite characteristics that are taught in the military. He turned his back on the fellow man today and left a family...

These are the nicest people you will ever meet. My wife and I just finished riding our motorcycle through the Badlands and Wall Drug while on vacation. As we were riding back to Custer and the weather turned really bad. A tornado warning came across the radio. We pulled off the interstate to the Mobile Gas station in Wasta S.D. As the storm grew closer, the owners wife of Armed Forces pulled in the gas station and filled up and we talked about how a tornado touched down. As I filmed the storm coming in, Tom (Armed Forces owner) opened his garage door and asked if we would like to come in and wait the storm out. We were there for 2 hours. We are very grateful for their...

For a private (personal) collection of military memorabilia, this ranks as one of the most well documented ones I have encountered. The owner was closed for the day when we arrived, but he kindly opened up and let us browse. The collection covers a wide time span and multiple sides of man's 20th century military experiences. I'm not sure how deep it is, but what this man has collected is remarkable and, thankfully, well documented. Worth a stop if you're in the area. Just off...
