Lewiston Lake — Attraction in Weaverville

Lots of pay camp sites, just a beautiful lake. Great for camping, fishing, swimming, and boating. If you don't want to pay for lake access you will find it difficult to access. 4x4 will find it easier. RV can't access without paying. Lewiston Lake is one of the most beautiful man made lakes I've seen. The lake is always full which adds to the natural looking beauty. There are a few resident Bald Eagles that live in the trees by the lake. I've also seen a Black Bear on the opposite shore while kayaking.
