I was there Friday a little after 6 and was sat around a fire pit to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were having a great time and our nachos had just arrived when a host came and told us the table had a reservation at 8 (in 20 minutes). I couldn't understand this we had called ahead and were told "we don't have a lot of reservations". So we arrive and get seated. Nothing was said about the table having a reservation at 8. How can you give someone a reservation for a table with people already at it. I went to the hostess stand to ask for boxes for the food that had just arrived and to understand how they could give away the table. As the host was walking away while I was talking all they could say was "next time get a reservation". It is safe to say that there will not be a next time. For the amount I spent in the short time I was there and to be disregarded the way we were is beyond disappointing.

I have been coming to Blackburn for a couple years to run, walk, and just enjoy outside. Thr pathways are nice, and well kept. The baseball and soccer fields always seem to have something going on as well. People seem to take advantage of the tennis courts, as they are well maintained too. Very dog friendly, and even have a station for with waste bags, and trash cans. There's not much you can't love about this park. A playground, pavilions, and a really nice bird sanctuary. You should do yourself a favor, get off the couch, and enjoy some fresh air!

The most precious hidden gem! Multiple pavilions, 2 softball fields, 2 tennis courts, a soccer field and walking trails (including some through the wooded bird sanctuary) make this 36 acre park my favorite! I loved it so much that I bought my house in its neighborhood!

First the main photo here is someone's home not the park. The park is stunning while that home's lawn looks subpar. Bring bug spray as Blackburn has dense foliage. Lots of sports from softball to soccer are played here and watch out for mornings in the summer if you dont like a busy park as camp webegee roams (looking to sign up your kids? Call the parks and recs center - unpaid advertisement from former camper and former Rec employee). Amazing park plenty of room and open fields and junglegyms. Or take a walk on the awesome paved and lighted sidewalks... Did I mention bring the...

I have very fond memories of Blackburn Park, which span over 5 decades. My family had many picnics there, starting when I was about five years old, I also played baseball there, growing up, and as a young adult, I partied in the park with my friends. When I became a father, I took my boys to Blackburn Park to play when we would come back into town, and now that I'm in my 60s, it's one of the parks I enjoy with my dog, Lacey. The park has a couple of baseball fields, a nice playground, picnic pavilions and areas, and plenty of open space in which to kick back and...
