I AM A VICTIM OF HURRICANE HARVEY THAT IS STILL TRYING TO RECOVER FROM SO MUCH LOSS AND I W AS REFERRED TO THIS STORE BY MYMOTHER IN LAW, WHO HAD NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THE SERVICE THAT SHE HAS RECEIVED HERE. WELL, I RECEIVED THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY. I GUESS SINCE THE PRICES ARE LOW, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I AM COMPLETLEY DISSATISFIED. I FEEL I WAS NOT TREATED LIKE A VALUED CUSTOMER. ON FEB 21 I ORDERED A SECTIONAL ONLINE AND DECIDED TO PICK UP MY MERCHANDISE, AS THE DELIVERY FEE WAS A BIT STEEP. I RECEIVED AND EMAIL STATING THAT IT WOULD BE DELIVERED ON A WEDNESDAY. I FOLLOWED UP ON THAT EMAIL BY CALLING AND COMING IN TO THE OFFICE. DUE TO THE VERY RESTRICTIVE PICK UP GUIDELINES, AND THEIR LESS THAN FLEXIBLE DEMEANOR, I HAD TO MAKE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE ARRANGMENTS. I WAS UNFORTUNATELY PRESSED FOR TIME, AS WAS MY HELP, WHEN I WENT INTO THE STORE. I WENT TOT HE OFFICE AND EXPLAINED TO THE EMPLOYEE THAT I WASTHERE TO PICK UP AN ONLINE ORDER. HER DEMEANOR WAS NOT VERY INVITING TO BEGIN WITH AND BECAME LESS SO AS SHE OPENED HER MOUTH. I ATTEMPTED TO EXPLAIN THAT I WAS TOLD THAT MY FURNITURE WOULD BE DELIVERED BY LAST WEDNESDAY TO THE WEBSTER LOCATION. SHE CONTINUED TO ASK ME IF "SOMEONE HAD CALLED ME." NO ONE CALLED ME, I ACTUALLY CALLED TO FIND OUT THAT MY FURNITURE WAS IN FACT BEING DELIVERED WED MARCH 7. INSTEAD OF LISTENING OR TRYING TO ASSIST, SHE JUST PROCEEDED TO ASK IF SOMEONE CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THAT SOMEONE CALLS WHEN MY THINGS ARE DELIVERED. BECAUSE I WAS SO UPSET AND SUFFER FROM SEVERE ANXIETY, I HAD TO LEAVE THE STORE ALONG WITH MY HELP AND FORFEIT THE ARRANGEMENTS THAT I MADE. I WAS GIVEN THE NUMBER TO THE DISTRIBUTION CENTER, SO I COULD FIND OUT WHERE MY MERCHANDISE WAS AND WHAT I NEEDED TO DO SINCE THIS WAS MY ONLY OPPORTUNITY TO PICKL UP SAID MERCHANDISE. UPON CALLING THE DISTRIBUTION CENTER, I WAS INFORMED THAT MY MERCHANDISE HAD BEEN DELIVERED TO THE STORE THAT I HAD JUST LEFT. I CONTACTED "NICK" THE STORE MANAGER WHO SEEMED LESS THANTHRILLED TO ASSIST AND DID NOT OFFER AN APOLOGY FOR THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE MISTAKE OR THE INCONVENIENCE. I GOT MY DELIVERY FOR FREE, BUT I DESERVED IT FREE. I MADE MY OWN ARRANGEMENTS TO PICK UP WHAT I PAID FOR, AT NO COST TO ME. I DID EVERYTHING THAT WAS REQUIRED OF ME. I FELT LIKE THE FREE DELIVERY WAS JUST A WAY TO GET ME OUT OF THEIR HAIR. I SENT A COMPLAINT TO THE COPRORATE OFFICE WHO NEVER BOTHERED TO CONTACT ME BACK WITH AN APOLOGY OR ANYTHING TO MAKE ME FEEL BETTER ABOUT THE WAY i WAS TREATED. UPON CALLINGTHE CORPORATE OFFICE, I DIDN'T FEEL ANY MORE APPRECIATED. BUT THE LADY DID INFORM ME THAT THE EMPLOYEE THAT WAS RUDE TO ME WAS BEING "HANDLED"... A STATEMENT THAT I DO NOT TRUST, BECAUSE I STILL WAS NEVER OFFERED AN APOLOGY. I HAVE SUFFERED SO MUCH TRAGEDY LATELY AND HAVE BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY SO MANY BUSINESSES BECAUSE I HAVE SUCH A GREAT NEED. I TRULY EXPECTED MORE FROM THIS COMPANY, GIVEN THE GOOD THINGS THAT I WAS TOLD. IF I HAD NOT LOST ALL OF MY THINGS AND WAS NOT IN SUCH A DIRE NEED, I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A REFUND AND BEEN WILLING TO PAY MORE JUST TO BE TREATED BETTER. THERE IS SOMETHING TO BE SAID ABOUT TREATING EVERYONE WITH KINDNESS, MOST ESPECIALLY IN A CUSTOMER SERVICE SETTING. THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD TO PAY FOR. I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE, MOST ESPECIALLY SOMEONE IN NEED OF HELP. THIS IS NOT SOMEWHERE THAT OFFERS COMPASSION OR KINDNESS. Update: We received some pieces on Mar 21. Unfortunately it was not what I ordered. I was still unable to put my sofa together. I called the number that was left and spoke to Maddie who is the only person that has been understanding and kind thru this whole ordeal. She was able to schedule to have my correct pieces sent to me next week. NEW UPDATE: MADDIE LIED. I WAS NEVER SCHEDULED FOR DELIVERY, MY ISSUE WAS NEVER RESOLVED AND NOW I AM BEING GIVEN THE RUN AROUND ABOUT MY REFUND. HANDS DOWN THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXOPERIENCED.

TL;DR: Terrible delivery service. I do not recommend. Service and personnel were great during the purchasing process, but the delivery experience was terrible. I purchased a sectional sofa and ottoman in mid-October. I was told they were back-ordered and would have to wait two weeks to receive them. No big deal. I was okay with waiting. Two weeks pass and I receive a revised delivery date of an additional two weeks out. Fast forward another two weeks: I then received a call on the revised delivery date that they have not received the furniture from the manufacturer. My delivery date was then revised once more. I finally received my sectional sofa one and a half months later, after several failed delivery appointments and remaining home all day to accommodate delivery. I had not yet received the ottoman. The ottoman would be delayed an additional week, as there was no stock. Come delivery day, I received a call stating that the ottoman would not be delivered because the delivery team left the warehouse before the ottoman arrived. Since it was available, I decided to pick up the ottoman myself. I finally have all furniture purchased in October in early December. Will I buy furniture there again? I think not. I have since purchased another piece of furniture from another local company. It was delivered when promised, without issue or delay!

I as a handicap senior spent two hours at Bel looking for a recliner,but decided to go with a three piece furniture set.Maria Guzman was very rude to me.When I finally found a set that I wanted,she said that it had the wrong price on it,and refused to allow me to speak to the manager or get the advertised price..I decided to go back to the first set that I wanted,she then removed the price tag and placed it on the first set that I wanted.How can you do false advertising,but then to switch prices around in my face.She told me the manager will tell me the same thing,that they made a mistake.so I guess everything that I touch they will switch the price tags around.Mary/Maria,said she did not want to talk to me any more,because I was trying to take pictures of the switched prices that she put under her arm.i returned the next day to talk to the manager.Mary had a smirk on her face.The manager Calvin did say the same thing that she said,he did offer me a discount on a recliner,he was nice.I left,because I wanted the furniture that they switched the price on.

I FELT LIKE THE FREE DELIVERY WAS JUST A WAY TO GET ME OUT OF THEIR HAIR. I SENT A COMPLAINT TO THE COPRORATE OFFICE WHO NEVER BOTHERED TO CONTACT ME BACK WITH AN APOLOGY OR ANYTHING TO MAKE ME FEEL BETTER ABOUT THE WAY i WAS TREATED. UPON CALLINGTHE CORPORATE OFFICE, I DIDN'T FEEL ANY MORE APPRECIATED. BUT THE LADY DID INFORM ME THAT THE EMPLOYEE THAT WAS RUDE TO ME WAS BEING "HANDLED"... A STATEMENT THAT I DO NOT TRUST, BECAUSE I STILL WAS NEVER OFFERED AN APOLOGY. I HAVE SUFFERED SO MUCH TRAGEDY LATELY AND HAVE BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY SO MANY BUSINESSES BECAUSE I HAVE SUCH A GREAT NEED. I TRULY EXPECTED MORE FROM THIS COMPANY, GIVEN THE GOOD THINGS THAT I WAS TOLD. IF I HAD NOT LOST ALL OF MY THINGS AND WAS NOT IN SUCH A DIRE NEED, I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A REFUND AND BEEN WILLING TO PAY MORE JUST TO BE TREATED BETTER. THERE IS SOMETHING TO BE SAID ABOUT TREATING EVERYONE WITH KINDNESS, MOST ESPECIALLY IN A CUSTOMER SERVICE SETTING. THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD TO PAY FOR. I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE, MOST ESPECIALLY SOMEONE IN NEED OF HELP. THIS IS NOT SOMEWHERE THAT OFFERS COMPASSION OR KINDNESS.

Update: We received some pieces on Mar 21. Unfortunately it was not what I ordered. I was still unable to put my sofa together. I called the number that was left and spoke to Maddie who is the only person that has been understanding and kind thru this whole ordeal. She was able to schedule to have my correct pieces sent to me next week.

NEW UPDATE: MADDIE LIED. I WAS NEVER SCHEDULED FOR DELIVERY, MY ISSUE WAS NEVER RESOLVED AND NOW I AM BEING GIVEN THE RUN AROUND ABOUT MY REFUND. HANDS DOWN THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER...

Jose is a salesman at the Bel Furniture in Webster. He was great & helpful. Unfortunately the delivery driver that came was not. I asked his name & he said Jr. Obviously he is a Jr so I asked what is your last name & he answered Sanchez & this question was asked before he left. He rang the doorbell twice & I opened the door. He brought in the table I waited on for 3weeks. He & the other driver we’re taking the plastic off & I had family over at the time & as I was talking to my family members, I heard this loud noise & when I turned around he started on the 2nd strap & was pulling & jerking almost breaking my new table. I yelled at him telling him to stop & said don’t you ever do that again. I mentioned you show more respect for me the customer & my furniture. It’s brand new & just because you didn’t pay for this furniture doesn’t mean you mistreat or destroy something you didn’t pay for. I know if it was his furniture he would be upset and say exactly what I said to him. He made a comment by saying ok ok like for me to calm down. Again you don’t talk, treat or disrespect a paying visor their furniture. When he left he said have a good day REALLY!!! I was Shocked because had Jr Sanchez been a patient driver I wouldn’t have to yell or report him or write a BAD REVIEW ON HIM!!!!! I don’t know how this young man has a job with the way he treated me & my furniture. One of the chairs has a discoloration on it. I called because I was SO UPSET with this driver that I called the store & spoke to Lenore who gave me Corporate’s number because I requested it. This happened Friday August 4th 2023. It was after hours so I called today August 5th 2023 Saturday & tried to call but the phone would ring & then go silent. I spoke to Carla & she was explaining that since Bel Furniture is just a show room & not a warehouse. I told her about the stain on one of the chairs & asked me to take a picture & send to the stores phone number. She mentioned they could repair or fix it. I told her there was No Repairs going to be made on a brand new chair. She said mam you have to give them a chance to fix this. She said she was going to ask her boss. I reiterated again No Fixing on a brand new chair. She called today & said they will be coming out with a brand new chair this Wednesday August 9th 2023. I told her Not to send Jr Sanchez to my house because if he does I will not open the door. He can take the chair back to the store until they can get a RESPECTABLE DRIVER to my house!!! I recommend Not to buy from Bel Furniture in Webster. I bought 7 pieces of furniture from Ashley furniture & I received my furniture before Bel’s table & 4 chairs with No Issues! I WILL NOT BUY FROM BEL FURNITURE EVER!! I advise everyone...

Hello, I wish the nature of this (review) since there is currently not a functioning email affiliated with the company, was positive, but I’ll begin immediately with the truth instead. Here in Pearland, Tx just yesterday at approximately 8:30 p.m your driver almost murdered my husband in our driveway in front of myself and our 3 babies. In our quiet, residential subdivision, where we do have speed regulations just like every other, your driver all but slammed into the back of our tiny Mazda 6 with your 18 wheeler, unmarked company truck. This wasn’t bad enough though, while he did manage to brake just before contact, he was sure to lay on the horn for atleast 2 minutes to let us know just how annoying it was that we dared to turn under 50 miles an hour into our driveway. We have 3 children, the oldest of which is 3 years old. What a sight. Unfortunately, it didn’t stop there, the passenger in the truck then began to motion out of his window with his arms raised and bucking his chest out aggressively at myself, a woman. Imagine that, you’ve nearly killed my husband as I and my children look on from a separate car in the driveway (I had pulled up shortly before he did,) and now the passenger is leaning out of the truck making threatening gestures because I had the nerve to look at him. As they drove away we looked for a company logo, but apparently Bel furniture cannot be bothered with trivial matters such as self identification. So my husband did the only safe thing there is to do, he helped me and our 3 babies into our home and went to grab a license plate number. It was only during this time that he was able to find out from our neighbor around the corner that they had ordered from Bel Furniture. Even this encounter was hostile, which should hardly be unbelievable, given the previous details. When he noticed the truck parked at the neighbor’s house, in an effort to avoid direct confrontation, he asked our neighbor who they had ordered from. The driver then began engaging with him, asking for his name and who he was and if he had a problem. What insult this added to the fresh injury. Remember, an all white, unmarked vehicle with 2 enraged young men inside, this was all the public was owed according to Bel Furniture. I will wait for your response, I hope this email truly captures the essence of my disapproval. We are disgusted, and this is putting it lightly.
