Sunflower Fields - Weldon Spring — Attraction in Weldon Spring Heights

Beautiful very large area of sunflowers. There is plenty of parking nearby. If you do not like bees keep your distance. However, the bumble bees really are very focused on their flowers and keep to themselves. To get there, take the dirt road off Highway 94 it will be marked by a sign that says "Weldon Spring public fishing access Missouri Conservation" if you are heading south on 94 it's on the left hand side after several s curves. Beautiful fields. Absolutely stunning! First field you encounter is surrounded by a gravel rock drive. The second field is just beyond the first one on the right hand side. The parking lot is directly next to the Katy Trail. Ample parking. There are a lot of sweat bees, so beware of where you are walking.
