A wonderful place to take a pleasant walk of 60-90 minutes. A path circles the entire lake and it passes through boardwalked wetland, woods, backyards of mansions, and the beautiful and historic Wellesley College campus. The lake is inhabited by ducks, geese and swans. It's fun any time of year. You can park in the campus garage, in visitor spaces, or in a lot near the athletic fields. Beautiful walk until arrogant landowner with signs that trail is closed insisted we turn around and go back (2 miles) to start at Wellesley College. Cannot go completely...
