Wells Beach — Attraction in Wells

I was actually walking along the beach 🏖️ and the spot where Google Maps takes you is in the ocean 🌊 and I was not able to "arrive" at the spot. The location is near Public Access #2. It is for the neighborhood access and there is no parking 🅿️ available for visitors. It is between five to ten minutes of walking from the 100 Atlantic Avenue parking lot for Wells Beach. It is about 15 minutes of walking from the 560 Atlantic Avenue parking 🅿️ lot. This beach 🏖️ was wonderful 👍! I got to watch piping plovers and seagulls feeding. People were walking their dogs 🐶, children were playing and one person took a swim. It was foggy with a light rain 🌧️! There was plenty of room to move. I do not know how it would be on a hot 🥵 day! There is a neighborhood all along the beach. I reached the jetty and walked the entire length. I observed either a large fish 🐟 or a small shark 🦈 jump out of the 🌊 water! Cool 🆒! The beach was clean and fun to walk along! The sound of aquatic fowls and the waves was pleasant to listen 👂 to. I recommend a visit and I hope to bring my kids here! Nice beach. We were there on a foggy day but the beach was clean, had clean public restrooms, and was very large. The down side is there's really only one place to park and you pay per hour so a full day gets pricey. Also the majority of the beach is backed by houses and motels and the parking is down the far end so I could see it being pretty busy on the parking lot end. So at peak times be prepared for a walk if you don't want to be close to...
