BRIDES BEAWARE!! I removed my review before, to give the owner SAMATHA a chance to make things right, which she has not.... the issues that we encountered for our wedding... all started when we went to view the sight, we set a time and all got to ohme about 15 minutes before our meeting time, we had to wait another 25 minutes before Samatha came out of her house which is right next to the main office, she then took us to the sight, and this is where it got concerning she asked us about 4 or 5 times if we had paid and what the date was.....so I had made sure she had the correct dates and times and was reassured that they would have chairs and mic, and arbor arch set up and that my wedding party can set up at 12:15PM.. I had emailed her multiple times with no response for days at a time... now when your planning and paying for everything yourself this is very stressful to not have responses from the venue site for days at a time... We scheduled a rehersal time for the day before and Samatha was no where to be found to go over the set up or mic, or anything..... so my wedding party and I went to the sight and played music on our phones and imagined what was being set up and how loud to play the music or how many Asil liners I had to make ( because she didn't tell us how many chairs lined the walk way) so had to guess on those... NOW HERES the fun part!!! the DAY OF WEDDING... I arrive to get set up in my dress and was previously told NOTHING WOULD BE SET UP FOR OTHER WEDDINGS DURING OUR TIME...,. 1st Arbor wasn't set up, 2nd mic wasn't set up ( didn't find out till middle of our wedding) 3rd NONE OF OUR GUEST'S KNEW WHERE TO GO!!!! 4th had random people walking into our wedding ( SAMATHA DENIES THIS) 5th about 30 WHITE TABLES set up right behind our sight so every single photo now has white tables in every shot and I now have to pay for editing them all out and SAMATHA IS REFUSING any responsibility for any of these issues and saying that she fulfilled the contract....DO NOT RENT THIS SPACE IT'S NOT WORTH THE HEAD ACHE OR THE LACK OF...
Read moreThis is a very unique super cute labor of love. I think you have to see it multiple times because I'm sure each season and even different times during each season brings a different perspective. My family wandered around for a couple hours. I could have stayed longer to soak it up, but the hubby and youngest son grew bored with it. I only gave it four stars because I don't think they adequately describe the difficulty some people might have navigating the terrain. There are steep narrow rocky pathways. I would hesitate to take anyone with any kind of limitation. Like my 67 year old mother is in good physical shape, but has a condition that affects her depth perception. The terrain and shadows would make it stressful even though she could physically manage it easily. Also, parents need to keep track of small children. This place is a maze and can you lose sight of them very quickly. Overall it's beautiful and unique and would make a great background for special...
Read moreAbsolutely lovely little garden! And the best part? Clean CLEAN restrooms. I tend to not want to be places if the bathrooms are ick because it's a small sign of how they carry themselves. The walk was lovely and it felt like there were multiple little areas to discover and a million different directions to go. The gentleman at the register gave us a map and a small history lesson on the place while letting us know about walking sticks and even checking to see what shoes we were wearing so we can be safe (shoes approved!). Its so cute there! If I had to nitpick and pick something I didn't like, it was that some pathways the rocks were not sturdy in the ground and I almost ate dirt a few times but that's nature...and me being me...
Only 8 dollars a person and that money goes to keeping the place beautiful and that money is well spent! Highly recommend if you want a tiny hike without too much commitment or complaints from your kids. Don't forget to sign...
