Stopped in on Wed. the 24th to buy 2 boxes of apples. 1 box of galas 1 box of cosmic crisp. Paid 89.00 for the cosmic crisp which I thought was ridiculous but I wanted some nice apples for our trip. When we got to wyoming and I opened the box of cosmic crisp I discoverede I had been sold a box of apples from last years crop that were probably a year old. About half the box was rotten with the rest not really edible. If you buy apples by the box make sure you open them before you leave the store. Be cautious about buying fruit here. They will not tell you that you are getting apples that are coming out of CA. Stopped at a fruit stand just prior to stopping here, and bought Goldens fresh picked. Stopped here to buy a box of Goldens to make and can applesauce. Obvious the Stemilt apples were not this years crop. Called and they said they were out of CA and I should have asked. I will never get fruit here again, nor will I ever...
