I remember coming here all the time as a child, and even into my adult years loving this place. I get a lot of places still have Covid restrictions or never went back to how they were before Covid. But to have 3 bathrooms, 2 on the courses...and one in the building and all not being open except a Porta potty is ridiculous. We went last week and my toddler son (who still is potty training) had to use the bathroom. We were told the only bathroom for guest is the Porta potty, which was completely filled, smelt awful and had a ton of flies and bees flying around. After MANY attempts, we were finally able to get him to go. And forget about washing your hands as there is no where to do so. We asked the girl at the counter if he could just wash his hands, which we just got a rude reply no. It's not very sanitary for guests to have to use that restroom then to be using equipment shared among the guest. There were 2 girls just sitting by the register, you would think at least open the bathroom inside and they can do bathroom checks every hour... The 2 courses are long and most families come, so a lot of children....you can't just have one Porta potty that probably gets check every week to accommodate everyone...especially young children. So turned off by the bathroom situation, and the one girl at...
Read moreOK, for those of you who take your miniature golf seriously, if you haven't played Pine Creek, you just haven't played mini golf in New Jersey! I've played dozens of course in the state, and this course was the most challenging, and it is not close. My son and i played the "less difficult" lower course, and the best we could manage between the two of us was 12 over par (I shot a beyond bad 74, and that's with a max of six strokes per hole!). The course has long holes and fantastic scenery; Basically just a scaled-down version of an actual golf course. You would think it would be too challenging for kids, but the group of ahead of us had four small children and they appear to be absolutely having a blast. And did I mention you use real golf putters? Service/pricing was also excellent (new owner for the season, so you might want to disregard older service reviews). Extremely well maintained; lots of it looks brand new, even though i understand it is a 30+ year-old course. About all that is missing here is ball washers, but you're guaranteed to get stuck in at least one of the water features that runs throughout, so your ball will get washed that way. What an absolutely gem of a...
Read moreBeautiful course and really fun to bring the kids to. However, my excited little family was met with the rudest attendant when we paid to enter. Snippy, not friendly at all and seemed annoyed that we were there. Her younger partner, though, was very kind at least. The grimacing one also charged my mom $6 to sit on the patio with my baby while we played the course even though we told her she was only going to sit up top and not enter! My mom left with the baby to go to the car after the first 10 minutes, walking back past that attendant, and was not offered a refund or even a farewell. It was unfortunate that we began our fun activity with that negativity but we still enjoyed our time on the course. Recommend if they swap out that employee!
*update: just read through this establishment’s replies to some of the reviews here, and given the tone of their responses, the “rude” employee I mention above is definitely the owner replying here. See the replies for yourself! Can’t wait to see her...
