My favorite park to take the kids I like the layout of the park because the parking lot is close to the park but all the way to the right and as you to the left there's a restroom that's actually open unlike other parks and as you keep walking there is a water playplace which is incredible and the kids love it the pavilions are perfect have alot of tables the garbage cans are never overflowing which is a big deal to me personally I just recently had my daughter's birthday there and it was amazing the park is fenced in there's enough for every age group to play in normally there is a water fountain in the middle of the park to encourage the kids to stay hydrated with covid it's not on but it's something I always appreciated about the park I know it's a big park and alot to say if u have never been there but it's fenced in except to the parking lot which keeps my kids safe there's different toys for each age group so all of my kids have fun and there's a place to eat sit and rest lastly I mentioned the water park part which has a couple things for each age group as well no matter the age of your kids it's so much fun... there's also places to hike and fish if ur more interested in those activities I always end up at the kid park because I have 3 kids thank you for reading and hope u enjoy all the many things this park...

Most notable example is the red trail in the north of the park - much of the blazing that does exist isn’t even red as per the map. I’ve done a fair amount of trail maintenance work in my day and the rule of thumb is that you should be able to see the next blaze from the current blaze, and there should always be tons of blazing at trail intersections. Not the case at deer lakes park whatsoever. Other county parks don’t have this issue so it is obviously something locally that park staff...

The only drawback to this playground is that there are no shady areas. They do have young tree plantings around but it would be really nice if they could put up some covering, at least until the trees grow, to offer some reprieve from the sun. You can fish at any of the three lakes but the lily pads are beginning to take over and if they're not cut back soon, fishing won't be possible. They also have an 18 hole disc course. There are several pavilions throughout. A great place to escape for a...
