I attended a fantastic party a few summers back, and it was an absolute blast. When I revisited soupy island last week, it had improved even more. The pools were impeccably clean and safe. They have a rule of removing shoes, including flip flops, and do not allow strollers in the pool area, but apart from that, it was a perfect day. It's always pleasantly uncrowded, and the entire atmosphere is incredibly welcoming to kids and families. What's more, the day I visited, admission was free.

Pros: staff is friendly, carousel, slide, and playground equipment are in great shape. Facility grounds were clean.

Big, big con: the rules for swimming are ridiculous. I went with a 9 and 10 year old. In order to enter the pool we had to stand in a line and go through a foot bath and shower rise. We had to leave our shoes outside the fence of the pool area.

My kids had to take a swim test in order to swim in the deep end. No big deal! However, I, a grown woman who was only there to supervisor my kids, get some sun and read a book, had to take a swim test also. I had to take the test in order to sit on the deep end side where my kids would be swimming. There was no seating on the swallow end side so I had no choice. So very angry.

After I went through that fiasco and only after 15 mins, all the pool patrons were asked to leave the pool and get back into the line so they could let another group in. We were not in a group. We were only three people and only two of us were swimming. It is very unfair.

The pool area was very crowded. There were alot kids who were bussed from summer camps I'm assuming.

In conclusion, Soupy Island gave me concentration camp vibes with the way we were filtered into the cattle shoot and all rinsed off like we were...

TERRIBLE oh my goodness! So I went on a trip with my camp at LHS so when we went it was trashy, they serve hot soup, the food is expired, the merry go round sounds like it's going to break, the slide is hot and the paper doesn't do anything and my behind hurt for hours! You have to take a swim test just to go a tiny bit over 4'0 and I swim exactly like the people who passed the test but still didn't get in🤔🤔🤔, you have to take your shoes off to go over some dirt and twig filled bridge to get to the pool (they won't let you take your shoes🙄) And most of all, you only get 10 minutes until you have to switch and get back in line! I only gave this a star because you absolutely have to to make the review. This place deserves, in my...

I took my 18 month old to the pool for the first time. I do like that they gave us lunch and snacks for free. But the pool is closed during that time even if you don’t want to eat. Then after a hour being there I started to notice the pool gets really dirty. The color of the water starts to change which is disgusting. I feel like during the times we have to leave the pool it should be cleaned, which it wasn’t. Also, after snacks the pool is supposed to reopen at 2:30 but the life guards and the pool manager didn’t reopen the pool until 2:45 and was moving extremely slow. It seemed like they were trying to waste time because the pool closes at 3:15. I can say the life guards were definitely observant and was paying attention...
