Coney Brook Trail is in the Tillinghast Management Area of West Greenwich, Rhode Island. it's roughly two miles of absolutely stunning trails, mature trees, varied terrain, and when the rain is recent enough a brook that cuts along ledges and boulders. this hike isnt a part of my #lovethestateyourein series but I wanted to visit here again. early September is simply sublime for hiking ✨️ know before you go: state management areas allow hunting in the fall and winter months. wear your safety orange 🍊 #rhodeislandlife #visitrhodeisland #rhodeislandhikes

Really nice trails and believe it or not we haven't run into any irresponsible dog owners who break the rules by letting their dogs run free. Highly unusual for RI but then maybe its the hunters that might be enticing them to leash their dogs. The only trail I definitely wouldn't hike there is the Logger Trail because it is overgrown and probably...

The lake and surrounding areas are very nice. You can take a short hike, or rack up over 12-miles easily, which is good for Rhode Island. A word of caution, the orange trial is loaded with biting insects...
