CrossWinds Winery at Hershey — Attraction in West Hanover Township

I had a wonderful experience at this winery! The wines were exceptional — each tasting was unique and delicious, with something to suit every palate. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, making it the perfect spot to spend an afternoon.

A special thank you to Libby, who was an outstanding host. She took the time to explain the story of the winery, which made the experience even more meaningful. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole visit feel extra special with her attentive service and great recommendations.

The winery also has a cute store that sells local, handmade products from Pennsylvania — it was such a nice touch and I loved browsing all the unique items.

My wife and I stopped here as a way to get out of the car for a little on our honeymoon. We didn’t experience any of the negative comments that people seemed to have. The owner was friendly and preoccupied. The gentleman who did our tasting was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and friendly. We bought two bottles, and want to come back some time in the warmer weather to enjoy the porch. The shop itself is not set in a vineyard like Cassel down the road, but it is a cute shop with plenty of space. The selection of wine was excellent ranging from dry to sweet. We had a group of 5 women, on a Sunday afternoon. It was our first stop and our first impression was how cute the gift shop was. We decided to do the wine tasting. We were the only ones in the place, so we honestly were expecting a fun experience and individual service. The associate literally had no personality. Didn’t describe the wines, wasn’t fun, didn’t attempt to engage us, didn’t smile. So, we left immediately after the tasting.
