Nature Ridge Farm — Attraction in West Lampeter Township

We began five years ago being more conscious of what we consume, trying to refrain from anything raised with hormones, vaccinations and antibiotic - after all what they eat transfers into you!! It was important to us that the animal that gave its life to feed us was raised humanly. We appreciate that the cattle are primarily grassed, instead of nothing but commercial feed, and they are harvested and processed without tons of nasty finishing chemicals. This farm makes a difference with their intentional focus on Nature. The past three years we have purchased from Sam and Nature Ridge Farm. Aside from the beef having a fantastic flavor, the communication is excellent. You can count on Sam, or Barbie, to answer any questions and personally call you back if you leave a message. Where do you find that level of service in these days? As long as Nature Ridge Farm is in business, they will have us as a customer. Sam and Barbie at Nature Ridge Farm are not only wonderful farmers, they are kind, lovely people. The meat, dairy and eggs are amazing and the service impeccable. I have ordered meat at the farm for nearly a year now and each time, my family and I are astounded at it's flavor. It is reassuring, as well, to know the animals are treated humanely and nourished with healthy feed. Without a doubt our favorite farmer’s market in Amish Country! Living in Philly, we stop by Nature Ridge whenever we can, as all of their meats and produce are top-notch, far surpassing anything found in the city.
