Dreher Park — Attraction in West Palm Beach

The homless have taken over the park. Its a nice park id give it 5 stars. But the homeless set up camp in the pavilions and stay there all day so you cant even use them. If you walk the path you can see makeshift shelters in the trees full of trash. Theyre rude too and act like they own the place. One time me and my girlfriend were hanging out in the pavilion having a private talk and some homeless guy comes up and literally parks his bike and sits right next to us basically gesturing us to leave because we're in his house. Lots and lots of birds,turkeys, many iguanas, young iguanas and old ones that are very very big but also very fast runners and surprisingly good tree climbers !!! The park is beautiful, very big and spacious with a lot of different animal species. Right next to the park there is a great fruit plantation with plenty of mango and papaya trees that are all private and very nicely naturally grown. Gorgeous, but when we went they were spraying chemicals all over the ground. Be careful if you bring small children or dogs, I mean, they were SPRAYING, green stuff. I went to look at a butterfly with my two year old and one of the "workers" (not sure what to call it) walked over quickly and SPRAYED the butterfly, like some twisted joke on us, or maybe they were just so ignorant to nature, either way,...
