That 60 seconds of peace is brought to you by Bridges to the Past, a two-mile walking trail north of Fort Knox, Kentucky. This bridge is more than 150 years old. #fortknox #nature #walking #hiking #bridges #historic #peaceminute #60secondsofpeace

This is a great trail for kids and beginner's. There is a steady incline in elevation from 400 ft at the start to about 670 ft to the end which takes about an hour. so you do get a little more of a workout but you probably wouldn't notice unless you had gps. Will go back to this trail, great warm-up before you hit Tioga falls trail. Very serene, green, quiet. Didn't see anyone on the trail which was nice.

A nice out and back trail through the woods. It’s paved the whole way, but closed to traffic. It’s also very flat so it shouldn’t be a challenge for most. It passes over several old bridges and there are a few small waterfalls and one cave along the way. The cave is big enough to walk into and deep enough to need some lights to explore. Plenty of parking at the trailhead.

Be a loner, it gives you time to wonder, to search for the truth, have holy curiosity, make your life worth living. quote from Albert Einstein

This was a fun, quick hiking experience. The majority of this hike is on a paved road through a shady forested area, there were some cool ruins to see with useful signs about the history of the area. There were neat arched bridges to walk on, as well as a cave right at the end of the hike that you can explore. The cave had a lot of cave crickets, a millipede, and a cute salamander or newt. There was nobody else on the trail when I went through it, so you don't have to worry about a crowd and can enjoy a...
