Really nice trail located off of 31W near West Point. Its a short distance to get to the falls and not a difficult walk. The trail has a good amount of uphill walking, but the grade isnt too steep. There are lots of tree roots and rocks to be mindful of as you walk the trail, so mind your step. The waterfall is a pretty, tiered drop that is best to visit after a good rainfall so you have more flow instead of a little trickle. You have to cross an active railroad track to while on the trail so be aware. The trail and land is part of FT Knox that they generously allow everyone to use, so please dont abuse the privledge and take your trash out and dont climb the falls. There is plenty of parking at the trailhead and also there is a second trail called Bridges to the Past that is a short walk as well. Be sure to...

This Trail is free to walk, and has been open any season I have tried to go for a hike! I took a friend with me each time. It is not a difficult Trail but I would not say it's particularly easy for some people either. Moderate in difficulty, you are walking uphill for a little ways.. then you hike the downhill Trail to Tioga Falls. The Falls are beautiful anytime of year. Then you obviously hike the trail back up and then you will hike down a little ways. I believe it's 2 miles in all. Walk at your own pace and bring water. I never needed water, but I have seen others who did. There are little logs and rocks to rest on if you need a break in between. If you are in good shape though this is an easy and beautifully unique and...

Trail was easy not long at all, great hike , beautiful waterfall, saw no swimming areas, but to sit beside the waterfall or climb it and wade in the waterfall and overflow was just refreshing, enjoyed this beautiful site !! There's no restrooms here, and pets must be on leash, from the beginning of the trail to the waterfall it is a climb, but worth it! If you want to take pictures 📸 and not have any people in them and want to have a more secluded time here I'd suggest late evening hrs to visit, no camping here ,however. The waterfall is at its best round spring, the flow is much stronger than other months..in the year. It's a very beautiful waterfall and the hike is well worth trip..I love...

Tioga falls is a beautiful location that's great for hiking. There's a decent amount of space for parking, and it's very peaceful and quiet. There's beautiful spots to see with multiple routes to explore, beautiful views, and wonderful opportunities to see the glorious works of nature (the waterfalls, the views from being up high, the caves, the flowers and greenery, the streams, and the wildlife). There's also a decent bit of places to stop at to rest, and a dumpster in the parking lot. I recommend this area to anyone who enjoys hiking, exploring, and/or embracing nature. (I didn't take pictures of some of the best parts, my phone died. I'll be updating that soon during my next visit.)

Made a trip out to this hidden wonder and was not disappointed. The hike out was somewhat steep in some places but not to taxing that kids or dogs could not make the trek. The views out were great and at the end by the falls were even better! The water was cold and easy to walk through. My friend and I made it up to the top and were able to see where the water was coming from the cliff. It made for some great photos and an awesome hike up. If yippy want to get to the top, the trail on the left side of the falls is the easiest. Its hard to see though and is right near the sign. A place worthy of stopping by if you have a couple of hours. Just bring your water and a camera!
