⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Stansbury Island: Utah’s Best-Kept Salty Secret
Stansbury Island is like stumbling into another planet—except it’s right in Utah and there’s no need for a space suit, just a decent pair of shoes and a sense of wonder.
The star of the show? That pink salt lake. I’m talking Barbie-meets-Mars level pink. It’s surreal, mesmerizing, and ridiculously photogenic. I genuinely expected a flamingo to wade by in sunglasses and welcome me to paradise.
The landscape is a wild mix of rugged beauty and serene alien vibes. The reflections off the water were so perfect, it felt like I was walking inside a Bob Ross painting that someone spiked with cotton candy.
And the best part? Hardly anyone else was there. It’s peaceful, quiet, and you can actually hear yourself think (or marvel out loud at how pink that water is).
Whether you’re a photographer, a nature nerd, or just someone who appreciates salty magic, Stansbury Island is a must-visit. 10/10...

Read moreThis was a really great experience. We had a great time and got some fun pictures. Plan ahead. *Bring plenty of water to drink. *Wear water shoes to walk in the water, because the surface is very rough from the salt deposits. *Wear and reapply sunscreen. If you're walking in the salt flats, be sure to apply it on the bottom of your chin and under your nose since the sun will reflect up. *There are a lot of bugs, so wear big spray. *There's one pit toilet, hand sanitizer not provided. *There's no place to wash up, and you'll be crusted with salt after exiting the water. Bring a spray bottle full of water, and water to refill it as necessary. Bring something like a washcloth to wipe your skin down after spraying the water. *The last portion of the journey is a bumpy dirt road, so drive a vehicle that can handle it or plan to drive...
