In Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah, we visited Stansbury Viewpoint and were completely mesmerized by the stunning pink Salt Lake! π The city actually gets its name from the nearby Great Salt Lake β the largest saltwater lake in North America. π From November to May, when water levels are higher, the lake transforms into a breathtaking "Mirror of the Sky" β reflecting the sky like a natural mirror! β¨ So, why is the lake pink? Itβs all thanks to a special type of salt-loving algae called Dunaliella salina.
