This jewel of a park his very well maintained. This park is very accessible: it has many handicap parking spaces and the trail is paved with offshoots that go to the ball fields and the picnic pavillion. This is park has two playground sets: one for younger children and one for ages 5 plus. and swings It has a softball field and a 90 foot baseball field. It has a paved walking trail that is just over half a mile long with lots of benches along the way. There is a wide variety of plants including a butterfly garden and even the parking lots have great plantings. There are bathrooms and tons of parking. If you want to bird watch go the western edge of the park where a fence protects the wetland area. There is a small picnic pavilion and a lots of open space between the upper parking lot and the baseball field. The old house on the property is available for reservation and is located right near the playground.

There are some changes in elevation, but they are subtle so you can just focus on your pace. It's tucked far enough off the road that (unless you're on the far north end) you don't even hear...
