Never will I ever return to this trail. A flyer was recently brought to my attention of weekly nature hikes until May titled “Hump Day After Work Hikes”. A few of my coworkers and myself arrived at the center and I had brought my recently rescued dog that is still in training along with me. Being that my dog is still in training, I separated myself clearly from the group and was in the process of muzzling my dog when a woman who did not identify herself came up to me to let me know that my dog was not allowed on the trail. I would like to think that it is common sense that if a person who is clearly separated from a group of people with a dog who is in the process of being muzzled that you should not come up to them hands forward without 1. Identifying yourself and 2. Asking to touch the animal. Not only was the experience embarrassing for being turned away but was it completely unacceptable to the woman to come in contact with a complete stranger who is saying “DO NOT TOUCH MY DOG”. Not only did this unidentified “leader” of this group put herself in danger but she put myself, my dog and the safety of the other patrons around in danger. It is probably in the best interest of this center to train your staff better instead of picking any Tom, Dick and Harry off the street to approach an animal that is not theirs. I have never walked or hiked a trail that did not allow animals so perhaps it would help to put out a flyer that is clear about not accepting animals. Extremely disappointed that I drove 40 mins to be...
Read moreI was stalked here by a female person here. I think she was an employee, volunteer. She was staring at me in VERY creepy manner. I think she observed and had intuition I am an abuse victim. It is true that I have been bullied and abused by some women. The reason I was at this park was to seek some healing in nature. I feel this woman wants to hide the fact that women can be abusers (they can certainly), and this was her motivation for stalking me. What is appropriate perhaps is either she is fired, or she have to attend a sensitivity seminar. But the fact that she would act like this really is a red flag about her moral character. I am literally disabled and suffer constant (not chronic but constant) really bad pain for several years now. This pain is almost certainly the result of being abused and lied to by a female work supervisor. And a brute of a woman here at this park took it upon herself to stalk a...
