A beautiful natural setting rich in local history and town fare. The Lake is clean with good fishing the center is reasonably deep creating good habitat for larger species. The shore line has been cleared recently by the Town of Westborough in many spots allowing more passive recreational use. On the North side there are sports fields South is a Sandy Beach ,East residential, West more natural abutting a large Wildlife management area that the Division of fisheries and wildlife stewards. Pets are allowed dogs must be leashed. Dog owners seem to be negligent on feces removal which may present health problems and limit access to conservation areas.
