I loved every minute I spent here. The trail is well established and is a loop so it’s very easy to follow. Spots were muddy but I love that. I saw lots of squirrels playing. I also saw a large variety of birds too. The sounds of Spring surrounded me as I walked. Ducks and geese were enjoying the water. Loads of turtles were sunning themselves. Pets are aloud but need to be on a leash. There are only a few parking spots available but I had no trouble with parking. The nature preserve is located in a neighborhood. Don’t think you took a wrong turn, keep going and you will find it. They have a trash can at the beginning/end of the trail and people use it. There was no trash anywhere which was very refreshing! Read moreThis is a very lovely and very quaint pond. It's always open 24/7 and I've never seen more than just a few other people there. Usually just joggers but also elder people walking around. During extremely cold winters it's super fun to walk along the edges of the frozen pond. There are many spots off the trail to relax and unwind and even meditate.
