To begin with, Capt. Bill is awesome. I always wanted to take my family on one of these tours. We tried calling Capt. Bill in August of 2017. Unfortunately for us, he was packing up his boat to head to Houston to help with the horrible floods they had. It was very telling of what type of person he is that he put business aside to help others. After speaking with him, I knew he was the tour we had to take. We waited till this summer to take a tour. We were not dissapointed. I booked a sunset tour for my family (wife, 2 daughters, and myself). Arrived at the dock area and everything was set for us. Once we got out on the water, Capt. Bill gave us a lot of info about the Everglades and how things work there. He told us about different types of wildlife. Then all of the sudden, he stopped. He told us where to look and sure enough, there was a 6 ft. alligator slowly swimming around. Then we moved onto another location and we saw a 10 ft alligator, if not bigger. I have no idea how he kept finding them, but he did. I would say we saw at least 6 alligators. One of them just sitting on top of the water (picture attached). We even found a caterpillar (picture attached) and baby frog on the boat that came along for the ride. We were having so much fun, we lost track of time and noticed it was starting to get dark. Speeding thru the swamp in the dark was just as fun as finding the alligators (picture attached). If there was any downside, it would be that the sky was overcast, so unfortunately we were not able to see a beautiful sunset. Can't blame Capt. Bill for that, only Mother Nature. Overall we had an amazing time. We'll definitely do another tour with Capt. Bill the next time we're down in Florida. His knowledge and professionalism can't be beat. I will reccomend his tours to anyone I know heading to Florida. Thanks again Capt. Bill. Or as my wife kept calling you, "Capt. Bob" Ha!

I recently had the pleasure of going on an airboat tour in Everglades Park with Captain Bill. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience that allowed us to explore the natural beauty of the area. Here's a review of our trip: Captain Bill was a knowledgeable and friendly guide who made the tour engaging and informative. He navigated the airboat skillfully, ensuring a smooth and exciting ride for all of us. The tour started early at 7:30 am, which allowed us to avoid the aggressive sun and enjoy the pleasant morning weather. During the tour, we had the opportunity to spot several alligators, including a remarkably large one. It was a thrilling experience to see these magnificent creatures up close in their natural habitat. We also encountered various bird species and numerous dragonflies, adding to the scenic beauty of the park. However, due to the high water levels during our visit, some animals were spread out throughout the park, making it slightly challenging to spot them all. Unfortunately, we missed seeing a crocodile on this occasion. Nevertheless, this is a factor beyond Captain Bill's control and is a natural occurrence in the park. Considering the time constraint of the tour, which lasted approximately 1.5 hours, we were able to cover a significant portion of the park. In summary, the boat tour with Captain Bill in Everglades Park was a delightful experience. Despite the minor setback of high water levels affecting animal sightings, the overall tour was enjoyable and informative. Perhaps I could eliminate the part with a long ride to see the Airbnb cabin. I would definitely consider another tour with Captain Bill, particularly a night tour as I had originally intended. My friends have shared that this offers a distinct experience, where the park truly comes alive with active species. It sounds like a wonderful opportunity to witness the park's vibrant nocturnal wildlife.

Captain Bill Ferris was born to do what he’s doing. Giving people a 5-star experience and education of one of the coolest places on earth - the Everglades. He Literally grew up on the Everglades. Me and my two sons booked the two hour tour. Don’t book anything less because when it was time to come back to shore I was wishing we could have spent the whole day out there. Incredibly responsive to questions from his site, responded quickly and worked with me to book the right experience. Initially I was wondering if the value would be there for the cost, but now that I’ve paid and done the experience I can tell you that the value far exceeds the price and the experience that Bill provides is nothing short of extraordinary. The education Captain Bill gave about the ecological environment, all the wildlife we saw, and the territory was amazing. I feel like an expert now. I feel blessed we chose to go with Captain Bill. Book it and be amazed. Both my sons said it was one of the coolest things they’ve ever done. Ever! Thanks Captain Bill. They broke the mold with you pal. What an amazing experience! We will be back for round two!
