I am a South Florida resident now for 35 years but grew up a city boy in Boston my childhood friends came to visit and I wanted to show them the "real" Florida and all its beauty. I feel that the entire tour it was a "meant to be experience." Not only was was the day crystal clear (not a cloud in the sky.) with temps in the low 70's. It was just amazing from beginning to end. Captain Randy is humble and willing to take the extra step to educate if you want to learn about this beautiful piece of heaven. My friend was able to drive the boat for as long as she wanted and Captain Randy was like a Father to Daughter while she was driving...That was very cool to be a part of. The quiet and peaceful sounds of the wind wisping through the tall grass made me think of the sound a paint brush makes on canvas. What a piece of art that God painted for us... Our family of 4 went on a 3 hour tour and had a remarkable time! Captain Randy gave us an exceptional tour. He was very knowledgeable on the trails, geography, flora, and fauna. He took us around miles of the Everglades. We explored different camps and various trails. We got to see a few Gators super up close, lots of birds, and turtles. We didn't have any interference with any other boats during our entire ride. If going, be sure to go on a clear, sunny day to see more Gators! Night rides available to see more and larger Gators! He provided hearing protection for us; might also bring earplugs as well if you have sensitive hearing. Adult beverages also allowed if you're interested in that. I took my wife and two granddaughters on a one hour ride with Capt. Randy. Needless to say we all had a fantastic time! Having had several air boats in my younger day I had wanted to share the experience with our granddaughters. Capt Randy went above and beyond to show us an exceptional time! From feeding baby alligators that are trained to come when he whistles to viewing hunting camps and an old drug smugglers plane wreckage.
