Canadian family on a vacation in Miami. I looked for cool activities to do in the area, and the Everglade Swamp tour was recommended. We booked a few days ahead because the schedule was filling up quickly. We booked the group tour for 4 people (2 adults and 2 teens). We were with another family of 2 moms and a couple young kids. I would not recommend this activity to kids younger than 7-8 years old. They really cannot appreciate the moment, and we they could not listen to what the tour guide was explaining, which is part of the experience. Our guide was Gary, and he was absolutely fantastic! We saw many alligators and these amazing blue birds, which were actually responding to Gary's calls! He got one of them on his hand so we could see it from a close distance. Gary told us tons of stories which we found super interesting. The ride itself was so cool! Water level was really low, and Gary ran the boat on solid surfaces through the high grass. We really had the airboat experience! This thing runs in anything! Gary is an amazing driver. We avoided an accident with another boat, and I was impressed how he handled the quick turn. We decided to visit Everglades for the first time. We have been living in Florida for three years but have not had a chance to do it so far. Life is busy with school, activities and work but it’s worth to take the time and explore the beauty of Everglades. We were looking for a private boat tour for our family and friends recommended Swamp Tours Everglades, especially with Bryan L. Great choice! Bryan was on time, prepared and very welcoming and friendly. He gave us amazing tour, showing beauty and nature of Everglades. The boat ride was very interesting and exciting for our whole family. Our two daughters, 8 and 9 years old, had great time. They loved the fast boat ride, feeling safe and comfortable at the same time. Bryan knows the area very well and told us a lot about fauna and flora of Everglades. He was able to show us alligators, birds, turtles and other species. We were able to see the alligator mother with little babies. Bryan is very knowledgeable, personal but also professional; respectful in regard to the nature around and cautious to not disturb unnecessary any species around.
