Caveat - We came during the off season.

This is quant older hotel right off a main road. We had a good stay but a little more attention to detail could have made it great. When we arrived there was nobody manning the office, I’m assuming this was because it was off season. We called and the friendly clerk arrived about 15 minutes later to check us in. When we arrived in our room, the first thing I noticed was the musty smell. This indicates carpets need cleaned or replaced. The second thing I noticed was the lovely basket and balloons left to celebrate our anniversary. The complimentary basket contained sparkling cider, chocolate, popcorn and pretty goblets. The room itself looked nice overall but there were a few small details that made it less luxurious/romantic. One tv was mounted on the wall with cording hanging down and another tv was on a small table below it. The TV on the table was the one that worked. I found popcorn kernels on the beside table which makes me wonder how well the room was cleaned and there was no soap for washing anywhere’s in the room. Luckily I always bring soap so we were able to wash our hands after using the restroom. The gas fireplace was decorated very cutely and really warmed the room. The best feature was the large bath tub with adequate hot water and relaxing jets. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were soft (bring your own if you like firm pillows). Again small details, the sheets looked nice but felt scratchy against my skin. In the morning I discovered the coffee pot did not work properly and had to rig it to get it to work. The microwave and fridge both worked and looked clean. The shower stall was large enough for two. Overall we enjoyed our anniversary weekend stay and if the owner pays a little more attention to the details, this good hotel could become a...

I wouldn't even give this place one star, unfortunately I have no choice. I travel all over Washington, Oregon and Idaho for my job, never once have I been turned away at a hotel. It was my friends 30th birthday in Wesport on a Saturday night. I call the Breaker Inn at 7pm that night COMPLETELY SOBER and asked if i could get a room for that night instead of driving back 2 hours to my place since we were going out for drinks. The lady working there asked me what time i would be coming around and I said after the bar closes. Asked how many people and at first I said one, then changed it to two. Didn't think it was a big deal. I get a CALL BACK from her, saying that she changed her mind and I need to find some other place to stay. When i asked why this is what she says, "We don't do business with someone who doesn't know whether there is 2 people staying or not and especially if you plan on 'shutting the bar down' because we have quiet time at 10pm." Need I remind you that i was going OUT to a bar, miles away! After that, i hung up and drove there in person. After being there in person she changed her mind saying i could stay. I shut the door in her face and drove to another hotel. Those people have no respect and lost business in a tiny town who could have used it. I am sure some other people have different views on it, but I have NEVER been turned away because of a birthday party with a group of girls who wanted...

If I could I would give this place a 0 customer service is everything and this place has none. This place is completely unreasonable I was staying in Ocean Shores not from the area, I was using agena booking app and booked this place on complete accident, I contacted the booking party and the hotel right away this place was 58 miles away from the convention. The booking customer service contact them and so did I. I'm not sure who called me back but on the phone the lady said " oh my manager mentioned something about this, I'll call you back" never heard back called the booking place this morning they offered the hotel to waive their fee and they still wouldn't cancel. I have worked in the hospitality business for 7 years and I know that a hotel can cancel without being charged by 3rd parties. This place doesn't care they just want money. What the manager did was charged me then resold the room. Good job guys. I hope this stop others from booking your place. Unprofessional. I have taken pictures of your reply and sent it to booking agent since you both have different stories I called your place of business multiple times the only answer I got was what I said. I talked to them today as well and was told you said no. I do not think it is smart to lie on a review....

No problem with management or relative cleanliness of the room, which is one of the cabins out back that we stayed in. However, the room had a musty smell which require we open the door and windows to air it out. The studio cabins have no sound insulation. We could hear other tenants banging around in the middle of the night, arguing and all conversations. Very little sleep over two nights. While the main hotel may be a better place to stay, I would skip the studio cabins if I were you.

We had a great experience with Breakers Boutique Inn, from a smooth check-in, friendly staffs to a very fun go-kart. We arrived really late but they called to check with us, then they waited till we arrived to make sure we check-in our room. We stayed at the family suite room, very spacious and clean suite with 4 bedrooms, 1 & 1/2 baths and a full equipped kitchen. Thank you for a warm welcome, we will be back whenever we’re in town.
