David Rich's IGA — Attraction in Wewahitchka

This place has a decent selection for a small town grocery store. The meats are usually pretty good. Produce leaves a little to be desired I have gotten potatoes which all had black spots throughout and bought packages with peppers or other vegetables where the good side is on the top and on the bottom it has bad spots so I'm not very pleased about that. This is not a place that I would buy my produce if I had a choice. They have a dollar aisle for those bargain shoppers and their prices are really decent for common items a little pricey on Gourmet or...

Entire town run buy small minded bigot. Price gouging to the max, bland and unenthusiastic employees, and BIGGEST GRIPE: I am almost constantly finding outdated or rotten perishable food items, including meat. Meat is very obviously dated with dark brown discoloration..the meat manager is rude, uninterested in customers satisfaction, and almost intimidating...he verbally abused and called my mom a liar for opeaning and checking the freshness of the hamburger. It was very clearly un-useable to any person wanting to avoid food...

Every time I go in this store I find meat outdated and it looks bad, especially the chicken. Also, there is one cashier that you always have to wait on to finish conversation with other employees before he decides to ring you up. Another thing I can’t for the life of me understand is how you can ring someone up while eating ice cream. That is so unsanitary, and plain out rude. I mean, don’t you give them breaks to eat or do whatever...
