Great park with excellent views. The current is sharp through the pass under the bridge, so mind your little ones. Few to no shells on the beach, but great rocks of various caliber. The beach made for a great picnic. Water clarity was good and we had a seal visitor whom caught a handful of fish within the kelp lines.

Good hiking trails not too hard, some narrow spots where you have to watch your footing. Had a nice 4 mile loop. It's not a quiet park though. Traffic noise near the bridge and jet noise from Whidbey Naval Air Station.
