It's been quite a while since I came to this park. I took my bike for a ride. I didn't know where should I go and where I can find the bicycle routes. So this is where I go. A little long trail that leads me toward the UNLV Sam Boyd Stadium. I suggest going to this park when the sun is setting down or the temperature lower in the 70s. When I rode my bike, the temperature was moderate, about approximately around 85⁰ to 90⁰. It was super hot!! Do not walk or ride your bike here if the temperature record reaches the 110s! Anyways, I enjoy my visit. My mom and dad walked here before. We even brought our dog for a walk. Like the other review I said in 2018, this park looks like a forest. There are no coyotes or mountain lions around this park, but be ready for anything. About the strange activities, there could be homeless people wandering around here camping. But I don't see anything bad. Just for your own safety to have a good time at the park here in...
Read moreAs a frequent visitor to one of Henderson’s local parks, I’ve found myself continuously charmed by the natural beauty and care that has been put into maintaining this public space. The park brims with life, hosting an array of wildlife that includes adorable rabbits, a variety of birds, and ducks that glide gracefully across the pond. The dedication to the park’s upkeep is evident in every neatly trimmed hedge and well-tended pathway. It’s heartening to see that the community’s efforts extend to enhancing the park’s greenery, as demonstrated by the recent planting of new trees on what was once a barren plot. This park is not just a place of recreation - it’s a testament to Henderson’s commitment to improving the quality of life for its residents. The addition of the new trees is particularly commendable, as it shows a forward-thinking approach to urban nature spaces.
Thank you to everyone involved in making Henderson a better place. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, and it’s appreciated by all of us who find solace and joy in the park’s tranquil...
