Skate Park at Hollenback — Attraction in Wilkes-Barre

Pretty small. The transition is pretty tight making for steeper ramps. Normally not too crowded in the mornings however, there tends to be a lot of unattended small children in the mornings. Would recommend coming around noon. Overall, it is a really fun park. It is definitely more street oriented with lots of rails, ledges and 5-foot quarters. Great little park to skate as long as it is not too busy. It's a tight setup, so if you bring little kids, you really have to make sure they understand to look for others rider at all times. But there's always friendly riders there. I enjoy...

Wilkes-Barre just got its first official skatepark, and it is excellent! The park has a nice flow to it. Being that there isn't much to skate around here, expect it to be crowded...
