Haslins Cafe — Restaurant in Wilkes-Barre

Haslins Cafe is now under new ownership. I miss the old owner, he was so sweet to me. It is now Hit n Sip, on George Ave, Parsons, Pa. We stopped by for dinner and drinks tonight. My husband had chicken cheese steak and it was delicious. The chicken is fresh not frozen. The bun was toasted. So delicious. . Made to order, asked if he wanted the peppers and cheese on it. He dis. So yummy

I had a pizza with onions. It was thin and and plenty of cheese and onions. They were not skimpy. . It was so delicious .

The bartender, owner,and cook were so friendly and nice. Prices are reasonable and the music on...

My last review for this place was july of 2024 and it has changed a lot since then. I will miss the previous owner i knew him since i was about 12 years old. The new owner made excellent pizza. I was there for a pool tournament and the owner made a few pizzas and hot dogs 🌭 for everyone to enjoy. They've done a lot of renovations and are continuing to improve the business. Exceptional service, great food, nice atmosphere. There was about 30 people in there and a lot of smoking but they have two smoke eaters and 3 ceiling fans so I could barely tell. Highly recommend and can't wait to try different items...

Local crowd, not much seating, but friendly service and a nice quiet atmosphere. Primarily an older crowd but I was there on a Wednesday so I don't know if weekends are different. Pool table is kept very clean. Prices are average for a "corner bar"...
