The Hitching Post At Shale Lake — Attraction in Williamson

The Hitching Post accommodated my nephews large wedding and reception over the weekend. The owners had done an amazing job setting the venue up for us. Communication was great and always made themselves available in a timely manner. They are really nice and friendly. I really enjoyed the entire experience. I also rented cabin #4. We've been coming to Shale Lake for a few years and it's absolutely our favorite winery. We have been to several other popular wineries in the area and nothing compares to the laid back atmosphere of Shale Lake. The wine and food are delicious (our favorites are the berry sangria and the pig tail bruschetta!) If I could give 10 out of 10 stars, I would.. my husband and I stayed in the boat house Tuesday and Wednesday night for a birthday treat for me. It was ABSOLUTELY beautiful out there.
