I cannot say enough good things. Everything is done with excellence and they have it running like a fine-tuned machine. The Ark itself is pretty unbelievable. It's just hard to fathom, even after seeing it in person. We were there for a little over 4 hours and that's with taking the time to read everything (there's a lot to read) and eating lunch (there's several places to choose from and the food was good). We didn't have kids with us so we did not do the petting zoo, playground or zip line. They usually have some type of program/lecture and we didn't attend any of those. If at all possible, I would recommend going when school is still in session. It was pretty crowded and I cannot imagine trying to walk around in the Ark with more people then there already were. I'm not a parent, but I'd like to give a little advice based on what I saw and experienced: kids that cannot read are not going to need a lot of time in the Ark, kids that can read, but don't enjoy it, are not going to need a lot of time in the Ark. I saw a LOT of parents trying to read everything with crying/bored kids in tow. Everyone go in together to look around then one parent take the kids to do something outside and the other go back through to read and then switch. If it's not too crowded and you go somewhat fast, you can probably go through it in an hour. I just don't feel that you'll get the whole experience without doing some reading. The point is to learn about the...

This encounter will be. A day to remember for a lifetime. It's so amazingly, beautiful. Well, worth the drive or the money to visit. I would travel a million miles away just to see this. Encounter. Very clean beautiful scenery! One beautiful and amazing place. To visit! They do have a restaurant and a couple places to eat. But I would highly recommend bringing your own food spokennoise in a nice chest. I'm leaving it in the car for lunch. Make sure you check with the front to let them know. You'll be leaving out and coming back in so they can stamp you or give you a bracelet. That will allow you to get back in after lunch. They also have a huge playground. Anna, Mary go around. I believe it is free. And they also have a petting zoo behind the arc. To visit, if you would like. Now, if you buy the whole package, they have another encounter that relates to them, but it is about a 2 hour drive. Maybe an hour and a 1/2 to get to that 1. But you pay for it all-in-one ticket spokennoise but if you just want to visit the Ark encounter spokennoise you don't have to pay that much. I would recommend going during the week. a little less crowded I'm much cheaper. Without the other encounter and just paying for the arc. Seniors are about $50 adult...

Security had a visible presence. We got there before opening and were at the beginning of the line, which led to the ticket booths and entrance. None of the hosts present at the entrance nor the security personnel asked us if we had already purchased the tickets online or were going to purchase them at that time. Only we were told at the time the gate opened that we had to go to a different line to purchase the tickets at a machine on the opposite side of the line we were. By the time we did the ticket line and again the entrance line, 90% of the people behind us had passed us and taken the bus. Buy the tickets online! It will take you the whole day to see it all. There are free Gospel concerts, an auditorium where you can enjoy documentaries, a virtual reality ride for a separate fee, a small zoo where you can ride a camel for a fee, a Mexican food stand, and an all you can eat buffet. It took us 41/2 hours to walk the Ark and enjoy everything. You will not leave the park the same person you were when...

Amazing experience! Must visit excursion for everyone (even non Christians would appreciate the structure and artwork of the Ark and other activities). We've been wanting to check it out for a while, as a Christian it had very good information with amazing visuals. The Ark itself is an amazing structure that was put together with significant thoughts and attention to detail, me and husband are both mesmerized by the effort put into it. We were impressed by the overall experience from parking, shuttle bus, Ark Encounter, live animals, and even the buffet (some of the best tomato bisque and pasta salad). The park had way more to offer than what I expected, definitely worth more than the ticket cost.
