We were staying at the Villager Motel nearby, a good place for cheap and cheerful access to Williamstown and environs and noticed this ToR property almost across the street. It was wonderful on a wintry day for exploring. We wandered up into Vermont and back. We avoided the Summit trail on the way up, but I chose it on the way back, wearing my microspikes for traction - and I'm glad I did. Though the 'summit' isn't open, you can just about see through the trees. Best views are in the meadow's high spot. The ruins of the 'camp' are worth seeing, too.
