Walking into the room was like a breath of fresh air. It is a Motel with only a few rooms, but it is impeccably kept with clean rooms, ironed sheets, renovated bathrooms with a modern touch, spacious shower cabin, modern mirror and two sets of clean white towels. That’s should be a rule - one would imagine - but I have noticed recently that the quality of the hotels has significantly dropped and I have walked out of a few asking for a refund so it was a huge PLUS. You can see a female touch here and there with simple painting inside the room and the bathroom and many flowers outside on the porch. Also the chairs with a small table and potted flowers in front of each room are a wonderful addition, allowing guests to sit outside enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings, embracing the views of the mountains and the sound of roaring creek nearby.
This was really a lovely experience and considering how welcoming the owners were and how friendly and accommodating they were, I will most definitely come back in the future to stay at the Cozy Corner Motel and I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for place to stay near Williamstown, MA and Clarks Museum, which are only 2 miles away.

Read moreI can not say enough good things about this motel, discovered through a booking website and chosen based on price and location. What a pleasant surprise to find how close to Williams College (3 minutes) and how beautiful the surroundings. (I was here for a conference at Mass MoCA museum, an 11 minute drive.)
Friendly and caring owner Ray and his wife miss no details in creating an exceptional experience. The furniture and decor have been recently updated, and every inch is clean, nicely painted, and well appointed-- no blemishes, cobwebs, or dust. The AC unit, tv, and fridge are recent and good models. There are tons of outlets, good lighting at bed- and desk-side, a full sized ironing board, nice curtains, and even three different sized bed pillows (!).
Outside, the upper deck and lower porch have benches with potted flowers overlooking sunset behind the Berkshires. In the yard, they've created a stylish and homey patio with picnic table and adirondack chairs next to a babbling brook and woods. The breakfast had cereal, bagels, bread, hb eggs, and waffle maker. Right next is a restaurant that had several patrons at dinner time. The most enjoyable motel experience...
Read moreAfter driving a couple hundred miles and stopping at a few over priced hotels we found this little cozy motel. The name says it all. They were very friendly and helpful (with hotel laws-another hotel wanted $30 extra for my 9 month old). We booked a 2 full bed room for the online price on the first floor and only paid an extra $15 for an extra adult. The rooms are on the smaller side but very cozy. Makes you feel comfortable, there are only stand up showers no tubs an tiny bathrooms but again very cozy rooms. Breakfast was included but had just enough variety for everyone. It's close enough to center of town if you need anything and far enough to feel like your away from everything for the night. They also have a cozy corner restaurant out front- we were unable to eat there due to timing issues but it was packed with customers who we're not staying at the hotel and asked a couple what they thought of the food. They said they eat there at least once a week. We enjoyed our stay and if ever back out near Pittsfield/Williamstown will choose cozy corner over the holiday inn that's...
