I would most certainly call this a hidden Gem in the state of Tennessee. I have lived just minutes from this mill for 12 years and never been there, and I am so glad I finally went. First of all, I felt guilty paying such a small price for entry. We spent several hours there and could have easily made it an all-day event. Compared to other tourist areas, this place was hands down more than worth the entry fee. You have pretty much free reign of the grounds and huge historic Mill. If you like history, this is the place for you. The falls are beautiful, and there's plenty of places to sit and walk. Bring a picnic and use one of the many picnic tables near the water. The owners were very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. After walking and adventuring around for a few hours, I made sure to stop back in the mill to buy a few goodies before leaving. They have flour, pancake mix, jams, and so much more. I will be back soon and recommend this place to anyone who loves historic places or just wants to enjoy...

!!!! wheelchair user!!!!!Listen folks, if you're in or even near Winchester TN Or even if you're not it's worth the drive this is a great stop! Super cheap even takes a few hours to see everything you take it all in. Might be worth calling because they might be closed during certain months, but for us it was a success! The absolute nicest couple own this place. They have went above and beyond to preserve the history of this place and keep everything from 1873 in functioning condition LIKE HOW??? but for us it was a little bit of a different experience. I'm in a electric wheelchair and was able to see and explore wayyy more than I thought I would be able to. If you're a wheelchair user give it a go! I had someone with me to take pictures of the places that had stairs inside the mill. I was still able to easily navigate the first floor which STILL HAS A LOT especially for only $7!!, go to the dam and see the falls and treck down the trail next to the creek to see another waterfall. 10/10 DEFINITELY...

Visiting family that lives about 7 minutes away from Falls mill and I requested a visit to the mill. All I can say is WOW! The price of admission is a fraction of what you will pay at the more "touristy" areas of Tennessee. The price of admission gives you pretty much free reign on the property and you can spend as much time as you would like looking at the exhibits. We spent 2.5 hours there and only really looked at about half of what is there. It is quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. Sit at the bottom of the mill and listen to the birds singing in unison with the huge mill wheel and the waterfalls. Grab a bag of flour and a bag of jam in the little store, and if the owners aren't too busy, they're more than happy to share extra history with you. I felt like I cheated them for the price! ...

Great place to spend the day with the family. A lot of interesting things to see from back in the day. Nice little gift shop where you can buy some neat little gifts or souvenirs from your trip. When you walk the trails you can tell they are well kept and easy to walk. The location is perfect and it is nature at it's finest. Very beautiful walk down by the water. The staff is very friendly and helpful so dont be afraid to ask questions about the items on display. Dont forget to take a quarter so you can hear the piano upstairs play. A whole lotta history at this property!

What a beautiful and relaxing place to spend some time with your loved ones. We were there for two days and spent most of our time down by the creek just listening to the sound of the water flowing over the falls and the rocks downstream. The museum is rich with history and John and Janie really know their stuff when it comes to explaining it all to you. If you stay at the cabin on the grounds you will get the most wonderful baked goods ( courtesy of Janie ) and breakfast foods stocked in your fridge for your stay. We went home a few pounds heavier.
