I've been going out more often and exploring concerts and went to my first standup comedy here. Few months ago got to see Everclear with Marcy Playground as the opener. Just in Dec went and saw Jim Breurer with opener Joe Sib. I got a quick picture with Joe. Over all def a different experience but had a great time.

I use crutches to get around and can't stand very long. Many places I get discouraged to go out due to long standing or no seats or whatever the circumstance of the venue. This venue I brought my new travel Atto scooter to see if this place was accessible for people in chairs or just general walking.

I will say coming from Nashville def was a good drive to get to this place. Don't plan on drinking heavily if you are going to drive home since most of the shows end after 10PM. Have a DD for sure. Or need to pace it depending how long the show. This place is back roads and narrow roads getting there. I wonder how the heck they get tour buses in this place?!

So parking wise they help and direct by parking attendance to guide where you can park or need assistance. This is gravel parking FYI. So if you have a wheelchair it can be a little tough. Lots of poppin-wheelin.

My scooter has great power, so it can for the most part, go over grass and gravel. But as soon as I got to the line for security check point the gravel was piled like quick sand and harder to get over so I had security push my scooter till I hit the walkway pavement that then leads you into the ticketing check in and to the venue. One thing they should have done was at least pave the rest of the road leading to the venue for issues like this.

They have a food truck and bathrooms once inside the venue. They do have FREE WIFI which helped me pull my ticket up since I had choppy cellular in the area.

Now once I got my scooter to the pavement walkway I was fine going up and down. There is a little steep walking and since this is a cave it can be damp so be careful with walking or crutches with slippery rubber tips. Most part the floor is gagged so has plenty of grip but the cave can be damp depending on weather or if it rains.

In Dec surprisingly it was cold BUT once inside the cave it was warm with the body heat of everyone and they have a door that traps the entrance once you walk in. You are greeted with a bar on the right and a open area of the cave. Some events will be all standing like it was for live band when I saw Everclear but I had my scooter so didn't need a seat. If at all need any assistance to the venue from the parking you can get with Security and they do have a heavy duty go-cart they use that can drive you down closer to the caverns entrance. It's not a very long walk in general from the parking lot. Course if you need a chair they can provide and put you to the side of the cave that suits best based on your ticket seating or area purchased.

Over all I had a great time. Now full bands will be little echoey and that comes with the territory. The sound for Everclear wasn't that great but the experience was fun and and different. Don't have to go as far as needing ear plugs but you can if it helps to save hearing. But it wasn't too loud just not very clear with bouncing of the walls from cavern pockets of the room.

When I saw Jim Breuer, everyone had seats to watch so that was nice. I did not take my scooter for that show. I just walked with my crutches and parked closer to the entrance of the cavern. Again take time walking and you'll be fine. I did not feel discouraged in any way and didn't feel I'd slip or fall. If you feel you need help down the path just ask someone.

Bathrooms right located right in the cavern to the left of the entrance with woman and men's room and pretty open to get in and out.

Again the path to the cavern has a slight steep walk or going up def gets your blood flow pumping hiking up the hill on the way out. But take your time walking and enjoy the unique venue. Staff was great and being smaller it's kind of intimate for shows and can see everything no matter where you...

Worst camping experience ever. Drove all the way across the country for a music festival. Girlfriend spent $400, I spent $300. Brought our trailer all the way to the caverns, signage was ambiguous and we parked at a private campground on the same road with a similar name, got approached by the owner. Broke down camp that had just been set up, asked a bunch of people where to go. Finally got to the right place to park our camper.

So we set up camp again, and after several hours tried to enter the cave which was a 1.3 km walk down a one lane road with two way traffic filled with pedestrians and intoxicated drivers in pitch black. Great setup guys 👍 👍 👍

Got to the entrance, the woman started yelling at us "YOU CANT HAVE THAT IN MY CAVE!" she was definitely on a power trip. There was no need to scream at us, and afaik it's not her cave. We were yelled at for having masks (my costume was a crow mask), no glowsticks (we were wearing military grade cyalume chemlights on our necks, no bubble gun (lady friend had one), and my tiny leather satchel containing breath mints, glow sticks to give away, a small radio to talk to my girlfriend, was too big to be admitted. Was then told no video or photographic equipment, thus no phone to call for help when something goes bad here, which is an inevitability with the lack of roving patrols and security measures. So we hiked all the way back 1.5 klicks to our campsite to put down our unauthorized equipment, and we were so tired from driving making camp breaking camp and hiking 4km, that we just fell asleep. $700 wasted - buyer beware this place sucks! 💔

My girlfriend is emotionally crushed. Going to try to make up this unmitigated disaster and waste of $700 in fuel, food, and tickets with making up for this by extending the trip elsewhere so we didn't come for nothing. Too many rules to have fun.

Buyer beware, huge waste of $1,000 and the crowds aren't too safe. There appears to be no security whatsoever. Bring your own weapon if you want to be safe. I've been mountaineering, backpacking and camping 26 years, survived mudslides, avalanches, flash floods, blizzards, hypothermia - you name it - this was the worst experience yet. The Caverns needs to offer refunds, this was ridiculous.

While leaving in the morning, talked to another guy who was also sent back 3kM for rules that weren't enumerated on the rules section of the website. Never doing anything...

Cave Jam Review-------- We have given this venue two chances and drove 8 hours to be there each time. We went for cave jam with The String Cheese Incident in our RV. There is no spigot on site and not one employee knew that, NONE. We had to leave and find a spigot away from the venue after we checked in. After an 8 hour drive. It was very frustrating. We do festivals including Hula and burning man so we understand the ins and outs of festivals. The security makes you feel like you are in-processing for jail or at an airport which is about the same. They are all extremely curt, and they want you to have your pockets empty by the time you get to their table, which is difficult if you have more than one item on you. In just one hand you have your phone, keys, and wallet already... Why is the security so tough if you can't bring in a small back pack or bag? You have patted me down, touched my privates, looked in my empty pockets. No contraband, so what does it matter since they search you anyway? Relax granny, I'm 49, here for the music and you have aggravated me every time with your hostile attitude . There is no hard alcohol sold at the venue and they expect you to drink 16oz cans, which I am not into. Considering the JD distillery is not far away, it's a complete fail that there is no Lynchburg lemonades and stuff like that for sale, but there were other cocktails in cans. Hello, we're in Tennessee... The porta-potty service was good. The food trucks were great, vendors were great, the cave merch staff and drink servers were also great, old people security not so much. The armed security guards with the the white 10 gallon hats were cool too. It's the staff that greets you at the gate that are rude in both of my experiences. Angry old white women that obviously hate hippy kids. The "free" water reminds me of my 8 years in the Army. You get your water from a portable station that tastes like pool water and it's always warm because they leave it in the sun because they want you to buy their water bottles. If we didn't bring our own chairs there is no place to sit except the ground which I will cover in my next review. There was no VIP section at the front of the stage during this event, but the nickel and dime-ing is coming.... But we did return. Review 1...

The coolest concert venue is an easy drive from atl, we’re so lucky!! ✨ if you love to explore atl & beyond follow @atllovesmo @thecavernstn was a bucket list venue for me & it did not disappoint. Made the 2.5 hr drive to Pelham TN to see @biggigantic (the bessst🎷this is your sign to never miss a Big G show). It’s such an experience!! Walk into the cave, grab a drink, and dance the night away while the lights bounce off the walls. The lasers for Big G were actually insane. You’d expect it to be cool down there but no jacket was needed last weekend (plus they have a coat check). We stayed at an Airbnb within walking distance to the cave but you can also camp! Take a tour and learn more about the 20miles of the cave in this small town. Live music in (and above) a cave! Open 7 days a week for guided cave tours & adventure cave tours. 📍555 Charlie Roberts Rd, Pelham TN 37366, Pelham, Tennessee add to your bucket list and send to someone who would love this 🎶

Experience Tennessee We had the opportunity to spend the evening at The Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee. The SteelDrivers put on an awesome show. This was night three of three straight sold out shows and I see why they were sold out. If you get a chance to see SteelDrivers, I recommend that you do. Also, if you have the opportunity to catch a show at The Caverns, do yourself a huge favor and see a show. #ExperienceTN #tnambassador #sctta #nbby #grundycountytn #PelhamTN #thecaverns #tennesseessouthcumberland #tnvacation #steeldrivers
